Editing Rival Cliff

Rival Cliff/Rivalklippe. A wide path finds it's way through the towering cliffs to the left and right until two towering shadows fall on those who travel this road. On the North side the silhouette of a horned creature appears on top of the Mountain while on the southern side a towering knight on horseback, made of grey stone is visible. Both statues bound to stare at each other for eternity, weapons raised, it seems but details are not to be seen from the bottom of the canion. The cliffs are steep here climbing would be a task for the mad and suicidal.

Climb up to both of the statues to reveal their secrets.

Climbing up: Depending on where you are coming from this task needs at least half a day, a full one if climbing up from the cannion. Athletic Check 15, if the check fales roll the difference *2 d6 bludgeoning damage. A falling target might make an Acrobatic check DC 15 to halfe the damage.

===== Minotaur Statue =====
The statue depicts a Minotaur clothed in not more than shorts made of hide, wielding one axe in each hand and raising one arm towards the rider on the other side of the cliff. The statue is made of light grey stone and is damaged partially. On first sight it looks like a normal statue. It is difficult to read the pose the statue is making and an expert of the stone craft would be needed to determine more details about the craftsmanship to gain more out of this...

The Pose of the Statue, Insight DC 15: It is a pose of respect rather than aggression. It even seems like there is some gratitude crafted onto the statues face.

Masons Tools or similar (DC 15): The statue is ancient and the stone it is made of is nowhere to be seen around here. It does not have the durability of dwarfen art but nearly succeeds those when it comes to detail. This statue was not build for durability rather than beauty. An extraordinary peace of art rather than a practical one. To craft this it needs at least century's of practice and the fact that it still stands makes it a masterpiece. 

===== Horsemen Statue =====
A towering statue of grey stone. A rising horse, moderately armored, the plated knight atop of it equipped with shield and a lance pointing straight up into the sky. The whole statue might be damaged but must have shown a level of detail not seen by any humanoid. The armor of horse and rider attempt to show detailed jewelry worn by the two. Since the statue is not painted it is impossible to tell what kind of gems and metals where used for the original but it seems outrageously pompous. 

The Pose of the Statue, Insight DC 15: The pose shows a mix of pride and victory. The statue shows a knight raising their weapon after a battle to those fighting with it.
