Namtaru

Namtaru, the mother of Spiders

Namtaru is a lower Goddess, serving the Lady of Mysteries Mistra. She is portrait as a giant spider with crystals on her back, unable to move because of her insane size. She is fed by knowledge running through the web of Secrets she is sitting on in the Astral/Etherial Plane. Her most trusted servants bring her living flesh to hunt and devour.

She is also called: Mother Namtaru, Web Keeper, Mother of Spiders or the Scheming Mistress.

She is a Titan that became a god. She served all incarnations of the Lady of Mysteries and thus must be one of the oldest beings in existence, even older then the gods themselves. She is seen as an evil god. She is the protector of the net of knowledge in the name of the Lady of Mysteries, Mistra.

Domain

Namtaru, as a lower god has three domains: Knowledge, Secrets and Death.

Followers

Her followers are usually spies, secret keepers, scientists, scammers and politicians. Aside from that she is regarded as the god of spiders.
