Adventure: Convince the Iron Will
Part 1. Gain entrance to the iron temple
After climbing the cliffs the heroes get to a Plato. Four giant, silvery rocks seem to be placed opposite to a pile of rubble dwelling out of a former hole in the mountain north, seemingly blocking the entrance to a cave.
The four silvery rocks - Investigation or macon's tools: The Rocks seem to have a huge amount of iron in them, making them reflective. It seems like blunt force was used to condense the rock, for it's shape looks almost to perfect to be natura. It is like many fists have punched it repitatley to break out the stone and just leave a fairly pure rock of ore behind.
The cave in - Ambush: The moment somebody touches the caved in rock, this person is pushed back 10 ft. and receives 12 force damage. At them same time 10 Monks (Minotaurs and Half-Minotaurs) appear out of nothing from the stones around the Plato, surrounding the intruder. One of them seemingly ends up right next to the person pushed away from the cave in. This Minotaur Speaks: "State the Iron Will, your business here, your problem or your intention to leave your life behind for a life of service in the name of a power higher than you! Otherwise be gone or be punished by us!" (Nennt den Eisernen Willen, eure Geschäfte hier, euer Problem oder schwört euer jetziges Leben für eines im Dienste von etwas Höherem. Anderfalls verschwindet, oder es erwartet euch Strafe).
- Praise the name: If a character speaks the name "Vallah" the Monks will be at ease allowing them entrance into the Iron temple.
- State a problem: If the Players state a problem and it is in the power of the Iron clan to fulfill it easily they will do so (Example: I am hungry = Give them food).
- If you state to leave behind your live they will ask you if you swear to start anew, you will have to succeed a deception check DC 20 if you don't mean it. Otherwise a fight will break out and the Minotaur will try to push you an others who are with you down the cliff.
- The heroes can decide to simply leave.
- In case the heroes do not obey the ultimatum they will be attacked.
Part 2. Inside the Iron Temple
Behind the illusion of crumbled stones lies a gargantuan cave with a single opening in the roof, the only opening for light. Sun or moonlight is always falling through this hole no matter the weather outside. pouring down from this hole is a thin waterfall nurturing a small lake at the bottom of the cave, disappearing in the wall into an underground river.
On the walls of the cave the heroes can see wooden pathways crafted into the wall leading to many smaller cave entrances. It seems like dozends if not houndreds of people live here in these caves.
On the far end of the cave the heroes can see a large gate made of metal. In front of it, near the shore of the small lake, the heroes see a few humanoids, mostly of Minotaur Blood, train their bodys and fighting each other with their bare hands.
