Nino, Dockside Extortionist

Character

Nino, Dockside Extortionist is a Goblin Artificer working in the city of Riesbruck in western parts of the Stormlands. He offers traders a sizable price for safekeeping of their wears. He has a bad reputation but his service actually seems to hold what is promised for thievery goes rampant in this city but interestingly Nino seems to have a way to find a way to keep your wears safe. The Problem is, that he charges up to 20% of the worth of whatever is payed to protect, meaning making a profit here becomes very difficult.

He has a deal with some bandits in and outside of Riesbruck who will leave the wears he marks alone. Therefore he uses hin tinkering skills to build contraptions that help the bandits to easier steal rfrom those who don't pay. Win -Win.

Looks

A small Goblin with green skin, long ears, a sharp nose, bronze keys as earrings and one shiny golden tooth. He wears a dirty red and brown cloak which at some point must have belonged to a noble child. He wears a Brown, triangular head, a monocle and under the cloak a patchwork chain mail. On his hips he wears a dagger, a rapier, 3 round bottles the size of a human fist each and a large sack filled with coins.

Personality: Chaotic Neutral

Pro's: Stands by his word, a heart for children.

Con's: Criminal/Thieve, Sneaky.

Nino can be compare to Robin Hood. Those who have money will be manipulated by him and he has no remorse to take from those who can affort it. At the same time he is the unknown person paying for the Orphanage in Riesbruck. He values agreements made with him but does not hesitate to harm your wealth if you decline. In his heart he is a good person, as good as a criminal can be, but this is not what most people see and know. He is very secrative about his true goal - To ensure the Orphanage has enough money to allow children to have a good life in Riesbruck.

History

- Nino Grew up in the Orphanage. Goblins are not very common in the Stormlands and non the less somehow he got here when he was just an infant. He had a very rough time with the other children for he is a goblin. Due to the fact that goblins grow fast he was for some time bigger then others of his age and his sharp teeth landed him in trouble many times, but the old lady running the Orphanage never gave up on him and treated him nicely.

- When he grew older he defended a young Halfblood Minotaur named Kamil (Kamil, Taur of War) from the other kids shaming him for his horns. Since then he has a natural sense for protecting young ones, no matter the species. By the time Nino was old enough to leave the Orphanage he became best friends with Kamil, but the Half Blood Minotaur soon forgot about Nino when he grew into a strong man, ultimatley becomming the head of the golden church. The two of them have not talked since and Nino became bitter, for his life ended in crime and Kamil rose through the ranks due to his strengh.
