Blood Sisters

The Blood Sister are an elven cult, the followers were maidens of Mahabi, Bloodmother, formally known as the Queen of Aravaile (Ancient History of the Stormlands). Mahabi was the wife of Dundrel, the former King of Aravaile (Stormlands) and now Kind of the Stone Cage and the Rubyknights. She broke ties with her husband after he freed the minotaurs and gifted them the Stormlands.

Mahabi was responsible for creating the independent minded Minotaurs, but she deems them to be slaves to the crown. They were created to be a shield against any opponent. When her husband Dundrel set them free she went into hiding and she and her maidens founded the cult of the Blood Sisters.

The cult had the goal to kill any newborn Minotaur to weaken their ranks to someday take over the Stormlands for she deems herself to be the rightful queen. The maids traditionally use daggers as their weapons.

Mahabi, Bloodmother beheaded Mina as a part of a deal with Agranak, Archmagi but died after being chased down by Lebos. During this beheading she created the Crown of Mina (Stormlands), a legendary magical artifact.

After she died one of her daughter took over - Daevelin. Daevelin changed the cult and allowed non elven women to join and also ordered the killing of non-Minotaur children to be sacrificed to prolong the life and beauty of the newly joined sisters.

History

1. The Blood Sister are a cult of elven making. Their leader was Mahabi, Bloodmother. They sacrifice young children to maintain youth and beuaty. Blood Sisters are female but might be served by males. Blood Sisters are using daggers, the same kind of dagger used to sacrifice children. There is no abidance that they are still active. The most famous weapon of this cult is called the "Blood port dagger" (Stormlands items). It is hinted that this is the weapon of Mahabi, Bloodmother herself. This weapon grows in power if it is used to kill innocent young ones.
2. Mahabi, Bloodmother got killed together with most of her maids. She was chased for days by Lebos but finally she got caught, it is assumed, by Lebos and his bodyguards, the Reckoners. She disappeared and her daughter took over - Daevelin. This change of leadership lead to a change of the target. Not just Mintaur children have been killed, but all non elven children as well. It seems that, the original concept of killing minotaur babys was not enough. Now, any young child has to fear for it's life.
3. Not just the target's of the blood sisters has changed but also the recruitment strategy. The original coven consists of elven maids, serving Mahabi, Bloodmother, but it seems reasonable to say that this coven has recruited female non-minotaurs, to join their ranks. The original goal of killing minotaur baby's to weaken them changed to the killing any baby or young child to prolong the life of a newly joined member of the blood sisters.
