Thunderstone

Thunderstone/Donnerstein. A steep rocky hill in the middle of a wast grassy plane. Six tall stones with ruinic carvings stand in a perfect circle 20 feet in diameter. Stone stairs lead up to this platform. The ruinic stones seem to be crackling with energy and by climbing up the stairs some clouds seem to begin to cover the sun. The wind starts rising ever so suttle and bring sithit the smell of fresh rain.

Quest: The Old Minotaur (Lvl 3)

The ground within the stones shows rash foodsteps of different individuals, showing powerfull movements. In the middle there sit's a old Minotaur with it's white turned fur, no clothing excepts for primitive leather shorts and glowing bandages around his arms. As the heroes approach his meditating state ends before challenging one of the heroes to a Duel of the sky for the honor of the cloud horde. He does not own much so he offers his Iron Arm Bandages. The old Minotaur suffers from his age but still has some power left in him. By talking to him it becomes clear that he searches for an honorable death for his soul to be worthy to rise to the clouds, becoming one with the Cloud Horde. "I seek a honorable death and search for one who can give it to me. After what happened this might be my last chance".

Fight the old Minotaur 1 on 1 in Duel of the Sky. Whatever the result

  1. Kill the Old Minotaur to win his Iron Arm Bandage (Stormlands / Artifacts/Magic Items) and let him become part of the Cloud Horde.
  2. Spare his live during the duel or he spares your live: He will give you information: " I was traveling with brethren of the Iron Will Clan to Planeswealth Town (Ebenreichstadt) but we just found death an destruction. Shortly after we've been attacked by even riders cloaked in black and red. I lost my squd,I lost my honor and now I seek death for I can't bare the shame - disgracefulness. I will find my way back to my temple and I will find a way to die in honor, but not today."
  3. Evade fighting him: The Minotaur becomes hostile: "I thought I had found an opponent but I guess there is no honor to be won defeating those in fear of the elderly." He will walk west, to the Iron Temple but will no consciously allow followers. If followed monks of the Iron Will be encountered plus one higher Iron Will Monk.
